I started “Stitch Fixing” because my sister does!
In addition to being a great teacher, my sister is quite the
good salesperson, too. At first, I was skeptical about trying out Stitch Fix,
but I’ve been pleasantly surprised that I love my fixes. I look forward to them
each month.
I am a little overweight and it’s hard for me to find
clothing. Stitch Fix even provides plus-size clothing for people like me! On
most months, I end up wanting to keep all of the items (and I do)! You can
decide what you do and don’t want in your box. For example, I elect not to have
any jewelry sent to me as I am not the jewelry kind of girl.
What’s really nice is that you can provide feedback each
month on what you do and don’t like. They also stand by their product. One month,
I received a pair of leggings that ripped after only one use, and they refunded
me the money with no issues. This is rare though, as I find the quality of the
clothing to be excellent.
As a person who hates shopping for myself, it’s nice to have
someone select some items for me. I have a hard time picking things that fit,
especially when most stores do not offer plus-sizes.
My husband, who tends to be rather picky (in a good way) has
started to get fixes in the last few months as well. He’s loved many of the
items that he has received, and this is something considering he’s pickier!
I also have to say that due to COVID-19, I have not been
doing many fixes, so I am more than excited to get one this month! I think
this influenced me keeping everything. Though, I’d like to say that I usually
prefer to keep everything as it ends up being cheaper. You get a 25% discount if you keep everything, and you don’t lose your stylist fee of $20!
I am the type of person who loves getting mail. What’s nice
is they let you track your fix every step of the way! Just today, I got a text
message that my fix was coming!
When your fix arrives, it always comes in a nicely packed
box like this!
Here is my review of my June 2020 “fix.”
Please keep in mind that I gave feedback to Stitch Fix that in this fix I mainly wanted shirts and shorts, and they listened! Though, I
could have gone for two pairs of shorts instead of one.
EVERYDAY BY STITCH FIX – Classic Cami – Black (KEPT)
$14.00
With Stitch Fix, you can add on certain items to each fix. I have a few of these
cami tank tops, and they work so well under all my shirts. I like that the cami
is longer, meaning it comes down below your tummy. I hate showing mid-drift! You
have to get one if you get a fix!
MIX BY 41 HAWTHORN– Margoux Chiffon Kimono (KEPT)
$34
At first, I was not sure if I liked this shirt (not sure why) but it grew on
me. It can actually go on top of many different shirts with the multiple floral
colors it has in it. It’s also nice and cool, and I am always hot. I can wear
just my cami under it and be nice and breezy for the day.
DANIEL RAINN – Kitty V-Neck Lattice Blouse (KEPT)
$68
I love the colors on this blouse– they just “pop.” The shirt
goes so well with the shorts they sent as well. In fact, most of the shirts
sent match up pretty well with my new shorts, which pleases me! I did find the
blouse a little pricey, but since I get the 25% off discount for keeping everything, it ends up not being full price.
