I can still remember my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Dunn, using a marble jar as a way to reward the whole class for excellent behavior. Mrs. Dunn would have a popcorn party for the whole class when we filled the jar. I promised myself that when I was a teacher, I would do the same thing.
