Free Sight Words Dice Game: Teaching High Frequency Words in a Fun Way

I created this sight words dice game to engage my students. I wanted to make learning high frequency words more fun. My students love this activity. I play it with them during in-person teaching as well as virtually. When we play it in-person, I have them use their whiteboards and markers to write the words. First, I write the sight word on the board. Then, I roll the dice. I have them all write the sight word and then they hold it up, and I check it. They are all excited to show me how they wrote their words.

When I play this game with my class on a Google Meet, I do it basically the same way. In the beginning of the year, I sent home whiteboards and markers. If your students do not have whiteboards at home, you could have them write the words on paper. If you are using Google Meet, you could have them write it on the Jamboard.
