Ever year, we make chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day. It’s a fun tradition, and it’s much more affordable than buying your own chocolate covered strawberries.
If you would like to make your own chocolate covered strawberries, all you need are chocolate chips and strawberries. It’s super easy! You can use milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, or white chocolate.
First, clean about 2 dozen strawberries. Keep the stems on. Dry them with a paper towel or air dry. Next, heat 2 cups of chocolate chips on high for 45 seconds in a Pyrex glass cup. Stir, and then heat again for 15-20 seconds. Stir again, and repeat until you have smooth, melted chocolate.
Dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate, and put them on a baking sheet that is covered with wax paper. Let them cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes or more. Enjoy!
