Among the MANY wonderful things about summer, the one thing I truly enjoy is being able to read more. If you are looking for a good book to read this summer, you just can’t go wrong with any book by Robin Jones Gunn. She is my favorite author of all-time. I have been reading her books since I was a teenager. She has books for both teens and adults. Currently, I am reading her Sisterchicks series. I am on the eighth and final book in the series, which makes me so sad! It’s an amazing fiction series about women in their forties/fifties who take trips all around the world. They are very easy reads, and even during a hectic school year, I managed to finish the entire series. That’s how good they are! I normally don’t read that much during the school year, because I am too tired. This year was different. Instead of watching television, reading her novels was my escape.
Here is the first book in the Sisterchicks series that I’m currently reading. It’s about two friends who take a trip to Iceland. It is hilarious! I was laughing so hard that I was crying while reading parts of this book.
